What are you favorite solar space heater designs using recycled aluminum cans? We've all seen the cansolair but what else is available?

I'm not familiar with air conditioners because I live in a cold climate and I have focused on heating homes and not cooling them. I've noticed an increase in interest in Greencore's solar air heater. It uses solar cells to generate electricity to run the air conditioner.

Is it possible to build a homemade solar air conditioner?

I'm looking for ideas and plans for inexpensive air heaters. I need something that works and could be manufactured inexpensively enough to be used on lower income homes.
