Solar Investments

One of the major sources of energy for earth comes from the Sun. The sun has been producing energy for billions of years. It is a solid source of vast amount of renewable energy. The renewable energy remains constant in supply and can never get exhausted. They are also environment-friendly sources of energy. These are in contrast to the fossil fuels, which have been a dominant source of energy. Fossil fuels create pollution by emitting harmful gases on combustion.

As the energy from fossil fuels gets depleted by the day, there is a need to compensate its uses with other alternate sources of energy. Renewable sources of energy form an important type of alternate energy sources These alternate sources of energy are present in the nature itself, in the form of sun, water and wind. The renewable energy can be tapped using equipments like the turbines for wind and ocean, solar panels, solar cells etc.

Although fossil fuel still plays a dominant role in producing energy, investment on the alternate sources are on the rise. Investments in solar have increased by 50% and reached 3,800 megawatts and has been doubling every two years.
